MJI trainers will be assisting more community radio workshops with DW Akademie in June. Two workshops will be run, one for beginners with no previous experience, and also an intermediate workshop for those who attended the previous trainings.

Myanmar Journalism Institute participated in a regional project funded by the Government of Sweden to strengthen the capacity of mid-career journalism training institutions in Southeast Asia. The Partners meeting was held in Jakarta on 1st and 2nd May 2017. Over the next three years we will work with partners in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam

The MJI annual Summer Camp starts in July. This year for the first time our annual intensive journalism camp will include both part-time and full-time students. The two week camp will produce a magazine, along with radio, video and online content. Stay tuned!
